WEATHER SUMMARY DURING LAST WEEK IN THE FOLLOWING REGIONS: - Rain/thundershowers with a few moderate to heavy falls have occurred at a number of places to almost at all the places in Kashmir from 1st to 3rd & 5th day, FATA on 1st, 2nd , 5th & 6th day, Multan on 1st day, Zhob on 1st & 2nd day, Lahore on 1st, 3rd & 6th day, Bannu, Peshawar and Gujranwala on 2nd day, Hazara and D.G.Khan on 2nd & 3rd day, Malakand on 2nd, 3rd & 5th day, Gilgit-Baltistan on 2nd, 3rd & 6th day, D.I.Khan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha and Faisalabad on 2nd & 5th day and at a few places in D.G.Khan on 1st day, Malakand and Sargodha on 1st, 4th & 6th day, Peshawar on 1st, 3rd & 5th day, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala and Bahawalpur on 1st & 3rd day, Sargodha on 1st, 5th & 6th day, Bahawalpur on 1st & 2nd day, Faisalabad on 1st & 4th day, Kohat on 2nd & 5th day, Kalat on 2nd day, Lahore on 2nd & 4th day, D.I.Khan and Multan on 3rd day, FATA on 3rd & 4th day, Zhob on 3rd & 6th day, Gilgit-Baltistan on 4th & 5th day and Sibbi on 5th day of the week. Duststorms/gusty winds have also been reported at a few places in plains of the country during the week. The highest maximum temperature of 44.0° C was recorded at Sibbi on 5th July 2014. C. SIGNIFICANT WEATHER: - Mainly hot and humid weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country during the week, however rain/thunderstorms are likely to occur at isolated places in northeast Punjab, Hazara division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on a few days during the week. Duststorms/gusty winds may occur at a few places in plains of the country during the week. Light rain/drizzle may also occur along Sindh-Makran coast during morning/night hours during the week. The highest maximum temperatures in plains of the country are likely to range between 45° C to 47° C. D.
